Day 3
Alison Worsnop

Bonjour!
Today is Day 3 and most of us are still pretty tired and not used to the time difference yet.
The plane trip was extremely long and day one just blended into the next. The trip from Sydney to Bangkok was ok, we all had personalised tv screens which we could choose to watch a movie or even play games. But by the time we got to Bangkok we were dead on our feet and it was pretty hot there. We landed at about 2 o’clock and had about an hour to kill before we boarded the next plane. We then boarded the flight to Paris and most of us slept a lot of the way.
The plane food was definitely nothing to rave about, breakfast we had on the way to Paris was a choice of an omelette or frittata.
On both flights we had some turbulence which always seemed to happen around dinner time or when we had drinks. Then the plane went wonky when we were landing in Paris which scared most of us.
We then went to the hostel BVJ Quartier Latin and there was no elevator so we had to walk up about 5 flights of stairs just to get there. We had very tired legs the next day!
